IcePass day pass is $44, not $50
What we said: The IcePass listing and /deals/ quoted a $50 day pass and did not mention the first-time intro session.
What is correct: The visible pricing table on icepassla.com/pricing lists the day pass (1 visit) at $44. Month to month is still $299 and the annual plan is still $199 a month ($2,388 upfront). First timers can book a 2-hour session for $25.
Why it happened: The operator lowered the day pass. Its pricing page still carries an older $50 table, but that block is hidden on every screen size, so readers see $44.

Space B.A.R. plans bill every 4 weeks, and prices are exact
What we said: The Space B.A.R. listing called its plans about $159 to $259 per month and marked every price as approximate.
What is correct: Space B.A.R. plans bill every 4 weeks: Relax $159 (4 sessions), Recover $209 (8), Perform $259 (12). Prices are exact: communal contrast $60, private contrast suites $70, private infrared or red light $60, 5 Session Pack $279, and a $99 Test Flight for new clients.
Why it happened: The September listing rounded the operator's plan cards to a monthly figure. The operator homepage prices plans per 4 weeks, which works out to 13 billings a year, not 12.

DUO Recovery hours and format were out of date
What we said: The DUO Recovery listing carried Google Maps hours (Friday to 7pm, Saturday to 5pm, Sunday to 3pm), approximate pack pricing, no phone, and described the studio as guided recovery programming.
What is correct: DUO's own booking schedule runs Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am to 1pm. Sessions are private DUO Suites with their own infrared sauna, cold plunge, and vitamin C shower. Pricing is exact: single $50, 5 sessions $200, 10 sessions $300. Phone (305) 981-6590 comes from DUO's booking system.
Why it happened: The September listing used a Google Maps hours snapshot and rounded pack prices. DUO's own booking schedule and package page now say otherwise.

Remedy Place WeHo a la carte contrast Pricing was unsourced
What we said: Our page said contrast and ice bath experiences were often high $90s+ a la carte and described memberships only as available.
What is correct: Remedy Place publishes a $350 Day Pass and a $499 Social Day Pass for two (Remedy Shot add-on $75 per person). It does not publish a la carte ice bath or contrast prices or membership prices. WeHo memberships are location specific with a 3-month minimum. Hours and address unchanged.
Why it happened: An early research pass carried an estimate for a la carte sessions that no operator page supports. We removed it rather than guess.

Perspire Cherry Hills intro, memberships, and packs were understated
What we said: Our page marked the $20 intro as approximate, used tildes on IRelax ~$99 / IRecover ~$159 / IRitual ~$199, did not publish the session packs, and the single-session FAQ only said a cheaper intro when active.
What is correct: The Cherry Hills location page lists intro session $20, single session $50, memberships IRelax $99 / IRecover $159 / IRitual $199 unlimited, and packs of 20 for $500, 8 for $240, and 4 for $140. SNØ cold shower stays listed. Hours unchanged.
Why it happened: An earlier pass treated franchise Pricing as soft nationwide estimates and never re-read the Cherry Hills location HTML for exact membership and pack rows.

Therma Haus temperatures, plunge count, hours and pack price corrected
What we said: Our short description said two heat rooms around 170F and 190F with three plunges around 36F, 42F and 50F, listed hours as 8am to 10am and 4pm to 8pm, and quoted a session pack from about $150.
What is correct: Therma Haus publishes two cedar saunas at 185F and 200F, four plunges at 40F, 47F, 53F and 60F, hours of 8am to 11:30am and 4pm to 8:30pm daily, and intro offers of 2 sessions for $25 or 5 for $99. No $150 pack is published.
Why it happened: An early research note was never re-read against the operator site after the studio's published specs and hours changed, and the detail page's own list already showed the newer numbers.

Pause vs SweatHouz still said Pause credits do not transfer
What we said: The Pause vs SweatHouz compare answered No to whether Pause credits transfer between locations, and a few other lines said Pause memberships stay tied to the purchase studio.
What is correct: Pause location pages say memberships bought at Brentwood, Venice, South Bay, Studio City, or West Hollywood also redeem at the other four, and Brickell and Coral Gables memberships redeem at each other. Long Beach lists no sibling studios. Pause's FAQ says packages and gift cards stay with the purchase studio. The compares, brand blurb, and Miami hub now say that.
Why it happened: The September 12 correction fixed the location listings but not the compare pages and shared copy that repeated the old claim.

Melt Well was listed in Austin but has no Austin location
What we said: We listed Melt Well as a South Austin studio with a booking link to melt-well.com/austin.
What is correct: Melt Well operates in New Orleans and Raleigh only. Their locations page names no Austin site and the Austin URL returns their 404 page, so the booking link was dead. The listing is now marked closed.
Why it happened: An earlier pass noticed the Austin booking flow was not live and hedged the wording instead of delisting. Hedged prose does not help a reader who finds the page in Austin results and clicks through to a 404.

Teddy's Hot House hours were wrong for two days
What we said: We showed Teddy's as open continuously from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM every day, including 7:30 AM on Saturday and Sunday.
What is correct: Teddy's publishes split blocks on weekdays, roughly 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with Wednesday evening only, Friday continuous, and weekends 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Someone following our hours could have arrived midday on a Tuesday or early on a Saturday and found it closed.
Why it happened: A Map Pack pass rewrote the hours from a research note that described the discrepancy backwards. The correct split-block data had been verified against the operator's own structured data three days earlier and was overwritten without re-reading the source.

Restored Pause membership network redemption
What we said: We said Pause credits do not transfer between locations, and removed the network-redemption detail from four listings.
What is correct: Pause's FAQ defaults to location-exclusive memberships, and its location pages advertise redemption across a regional set: Brentwood and West Hollywood list Venice, South Bay and Studio City; Brickell and Coral Gables list each other. Both facts now appear, with a note to confirm on the page you buy from.
Why it happened: Correcting the first error, we checked the FAQ and the location index but not each location page, then stated as fact that no cross-location claim existed anywhere on the operator site. It did. A correction that removes true information is worse than the error it replaced, so this entry corrects the correction.

RESET on Third is unavailable; operator domain is parked
What we said: We said RESET on Third was temporarily closed for construction with a projected Fall 2026 reopen, and told readers to bookmark resetonthird.com for updates.
What is correct: On our September 11, 2026 check, resetonthird.com no longer serves a studio site and parks at GoDaddy. We now mark the listing closed / historical, remove it from live LA counts, and point readers to open private suites (Pause, Nordic Nirvana, SweatHouz) instead.
Why it happened: A temporary construction note became stale once the operator domain stopped serving studio content. Keeping the Fall 2026 reopen language would send readers to a parked domain.

Pause Studio credits: our first correction overshot
What we said: We said Pause credits were portable between Pause studios, with wording like "credits that roam to other Pause LA studios" and "memberships purchased here can also redeem at Venice, South Bay, Studio City, and West Hollywood".
What is correct: Pause publishes both things. The FAQ says gift cards, packages and memberships are "exclusive to the location that they were purchased at", but the individual location pages state that memberships bought at Brentwood are redeemable at Venice, South Bay, Studio City and West Hollywood, and that Brickell and Coral Gables redeem at each other. Listings now say location-exclusive by default, with the network redemption each location page actually advertises.
Why it happened: The original listing copy was substantially right and we removed accurate information. Our check read Pause's FAQ and the site's top-level location index, but not the individual location pages where the redemption terms are published. Superseded by the 2026-09-12 entry below.

SweatHouz membership portability is unconfirmed, not confirmed
What we said: We stated that nationwide SWTHZ memberships apply across SweatHouz locations as settled fact.
What is correct: SWTHZ advertises membership access across locations, but sweathouz.com blocks our automated checks, so we now label portability as unconfirmed and tell readers to ask the studio before buying.
Why it happened: We could not verify the claim against an operator page. Anything we cannot check should be labelled as unchecked rather than repeated as fact.

R3 Spa hours and Wednesday closure added
What we said: We said clear published hours were not available on the operator site.
What is correct: R3 publishes a full schedule under the heading "Sessions Schedule": morning and late-afternoon blocks Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, weekend blocks Saturday and Sunday, and closed Wednesdays for deep cleaning.
Why it happened: Our earlier checks looked at the homepage body and missed a schedule published further down the page.
