ContrastLocal is a small directory. Here is what we collect and why, in plain English.

What we collect
- Newsletter email. If you subscribe, Beehiiv stores your email so we can send occasional price, product, and studio updates. We do not sell that list. Beehiiv also loads a small script that records how you arrived, and it sets a cookie of its own. That only happens once you interact with a signup form, not on every page you read.
- Vercel analytics. The site uses Vercel Analytics for basic page-view stats (which pages get traffic). It is privacy-oriented and does not use advertising cookies for that purpose.
- No accounts. ContrastLocal does not offer user accounts or login.
Affiliates
Some outbound product links may become affiliate links over time. That can mean a cookie or referral parameter on the merchant site when you click through. Studio listings are editorial.
