Quick answer
Is IcePass good for sauna and cold plunge in Los Angeles?
Yes. IcePass is a communal contrast studio in Venice Beach / Santa Monica with traditional Finnish sauna and cold plunge. Open Monday to Sunday: 5:30am to 11:30am and 12pm to 9pm. Day admission is $44, with intro offers $25. Best when you want one pass across Venice Beach and Santa Monica partner gyms instead of a single-studio membership.
About this studio
IcePass is one pass for traditional Finnish sauna (marketed above 200°F) and commercial cold plunges (37 to 44°F) inside four Westside partner spaces. The flagship is Paradiso CrossFit at 711 Hampton Dr in Venice, open daily 5:30am to 11:30am and 12pm to 9pm. Sweat60 on Lincoln Blvd and Blue Republic CrossFit on Pico in Santa Monica, plus Saba Surf Cafe on Venice Blvd, run shorter windows. Sessions book in one-hour increments on the IcePass web app. Pricing on our October 21, 2026 check: $44 day pass, $299 month to month, or $199 a month on the annual plan ($2,388 upfront).
In my opinion this is the best value real Finnish heat on the Westside, and the $25 two-hour first session makes it an easy try. It is communal and lives inside gyms, so expect a CrossFit crowd at Paradiso, not a spa. If you want quiet, Sweat60 is the operator's own pick. If you want a locked private room, book Pause or SweatHouz instead.
- Pick a partner gym and hour on the IcePass web app, then self check-in
- Traditional Finnish sauna marketed above 200°F, with commercial plunges at 37 to 44°F
- Showers, changing rooms, and lockers at every location (bring your own towel and suit, rinse before each plunge)
- Community vibe is strongest at Paradiso; Sweat60 is pitched as the quieter, more private stop
- Day pass and memberships sold direct (not ClassPass)

No. Expect communal Finnish sauna and plunge access inside partner gyms. For a locked private suite, look at Pause or SweatHouz.
Thinking about home?
Unlimited here is about $299 a month, or about $3,588 a year. A hard-shell plunge with a chiller runs about $4,990 to $7,990, so daily use pays it back in roughly 1.4 to 2.2 years. Plunge less than a few times a week and the membership usually wins. Compare home cold plunges or home saunas.
