# Melt Well South Austin ยท Brodie Lane, Austin > REPORTED PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Melt Well's own locations page lists two studios, New Orleans and Raleigh, and names no Austin site; melt-well.com/austin returns the operator's 404 page and the word Austin appears nowhere on their site (checked 2026-09-13). Our listing had been hedged as 'when the Austin booking flow is live' rather than delisted, which left a studio page and a dead booking link in Austin results. **Best for:** Nothing in Austin: this location is not operating. See the open Austin studios instead. ## Facts - Published price: $45 - Pricing detail: Intro contrast ~$45; memberships from ~$139 to $299/mo (promo tiers vary) - Modalities: Infrared sauna, Cold plunge, Red light, Private suites - ClassPass: Not listed - Booking: https://www.melt-well.com/austin - Last verified: 2026-09-13 - Offers: - Intro offer: about $45 - Membership: about $139 to $299/mo Fields absent above are absent because the operator does not publish them. We omit rather than guess. ## Overview Melt Well was listed for South Austin private suites with infrared sauna, cold plunge, vitamin C shower, and red light upgrades. The operator's locations page now lists only New Orleans and Raleigh, and the Austin booking URL returns their 404 page, so there is no Austin studio to visit. The pricing below is kept for the record and should not be treated as bookable in Austin. ## What to expect - Private suite with an infrared sauna published at about 140F - Published session lengths: contrast 60 minutes, sauna only 40 minutes, cold plunge 3 to 6 minutes - Red light can be added for 20 minutes during a sauna session - A guest can join your private suite for an additional fee ## Practical notes - Book the 60-minute contrast slot rather than the 40-minute sauna if you want both sides - Guests are allowed in the suite for a fee, so this works for a pair without booking two rooms - Infrared here runs cooler than a Finnish room, which suits first timers who find 190F too much ## Questions ### Is Melt Well private or communal? Private suites when the Austin location is bookable. You reserve a room with infrared heat and cold plunge rather than a shared floor. ### Is ClassPass available? No based on our last check. Book direct and verify current intro and membership Pricing on the studio site. ### Is the Austin location confirmed open? Not from the operator location directory on our 2026-09-12 check (NOLA and Raleigh listed; /austin returned 404). Confirm the live Austin booking page before you plan a visit. --- Source: https://www.contrastlocal.com/cities/austin/melt-well/ Publisher: ContrastLocal (https://www.contrastlocal.com/) Method: https://www.contrastlocal.com/about/how-we-research/ Corrections: https://www.contrastlocal.com/about/corrections/ Prices, hours, and ClassPass inventory change.
